![]() ![]() #2: 6 Sigma 6S-80 Sim Racing Chassis - 6 Sigma seems like a good deal for what you get, they have accessories that I would like also. It's not super cheap, especially with the cost of shipping thrown in, but it seems pretty high quality, overall. #1: Sim Lab GT1 Evo Sim Racing Cockpit - I think the Sim Lab GT 1 Evo looks nice, is good quality, seems to have good reviews from users on Reddit, has the accessories I would like. MY PERSONAL OPINIONS (which could be wrong): #7: Next Level Racing F-GT Elite Formula & GT Aluminum Profile Simulator Cockpit - Front & Side Mount (NLR-E003): #6: Next Level Racing F-GT Elite Aluminum Simulator Cockpit - Wheel Plate Edition (NLR-E001): #5: Next Level Racing GTElite Racing Simulator Cockpit- Front & Side Mount Edition: #4: Next Level Racing GT Elite Racing Simulator Cockpit - Wheel Plate Edition (NLR-E022): (*****Of the Next Level Racing cockpit options, this is the most viable option, price wise I'm not sure I want to go as high as the price is for the next few versions, but it's not a complete 'no' for them.) I guess to be fair, the comparison would moreso be between the first 5 options.Ĩ020 OPTIONS I'M CONSIDERING, but feel free to suggest something: Also, regarding the Next Level Racing options, I have two more expensive options at the end of this list that I would "consider" because, once again, the Amazon Prime 0% payment option makes it a more financially viable choice by spreading out the cost over time. I have Amazon Prime, so the Next Level Racing option could have that slight advantage in that I could buy it for 0% interest and pay a nominal monthly amount to pay it off (I'm responsible, I never miss payments), aka, I could then maybe buy it sooner than laying out the cash all at once. ![]() It will be in a carpeted room (but I will probably put some type of rubber/padded mat down underneath the cockpit). I plan on installing DIY Buttkickers/Shakers. I'm a "quality" person, but who doesn't like a good deal? :) But I would be willing to pay a bit more if one was better. Of course, it will need to be compatible more details to look into also. I just want something that has breathable fabric, I don't want pleather (plastic leather) that gets hot, sticky, and breaks down. Seat: I've heard people mention an NRG seat, not too expensive compared to some seats that seem of a similar caliber. Accessories/Add-ons: I want to have a keyboard tray, mouse pad mount, the PC shelf is a nice idea, monitor mount, and I guess the chair brackets are needed as well - some of those details I need to look into, the "necessary" accessories that I may not be aware of that I need. Would I ever use it for something else, sure, but that is the main purpose. This PC/sim rig setup will be for sim racing almost all of the time. I would prefer this to get the monitor close and in the "right" spot for me, but it shouldn't bounce all over, so maybe the 8020 monitor mount would be better? Not sure if there is a "positionable arm" for monitors that attaches to 8020 profiling so I could move the monitor into the exact position I would want, but I did see ones that connect to a desk. Monitor Mount: I plan on going VR, but will have my 24" Samsung (flat screen) monitor to use for anything outside of VR, so probably a good idea to have one. Pedals: I will most likely get Simforge Mrk-1 Dark Edition, Heusinkveld Sprint, or Asetek Forte (important to know for the pressure being used on the pedals when braking). Wheelbase/Wheel: I will most likely get a Moza R9 or Simagic Alpha Mini (important to know for mounting purposes). Yes, I have some specifics that might be different than others, but that can be filtered out and discerned by others for their own decision based on what is said by others here regarding these different 8020 sim racing cockpit options. I obviously would like your help, opinions, advice, and wisdom regarding the matter for me, personally, but I also thought this might be a helpful post for others to reference in the future who are looking at 8020 sim racing cockpits and trying to decide which option to go with since these are pretty commonly mentioned on Reddit and other places as people try to make this decision. I want to get an 8020 sim racing cockpit, but I'm not sure which one to get as they're all in the similar price range.
