It includes Bluetooth for sending sound directly to headphones or a wireless speaker, but it's aptX HD high-resolution Bluetooth, so you get more detail from it. What that means is you get a built-in phono stage so that it can be connected directly to an amp or active speaker, but it's switchable, so you can use your own high-end solution if you have one. The Cambridge Audio Alva TT V2 wants to bring high-end listening to you in a convenient package, but without compromise for those conveniences. Read our full Audio-Technica AT-LP60XBT review The inclusion of Bluetooth connectivity does make the AT-LP6XBT record player feel like very good value for money. The very light plinth feels rather insubstantial, and while the soundstage delivers that all-important vinyl warmth it could do with a little more crispness in the higher frequencies. For this reason, we think that hardcore audiophiles may prefer the sound and look of Hi-Fi turntables like the $1700 / £1500 (around AU$2750) Cambridge Audio Alva TT in our list below.īut if you’re looking for something super simple and not too pricey, this one might be your best bet. In our testing, we found that there are some minor sacrifices involved in a turntable this affordable. In short, it makes your music an absolute joy to listen to. The ATN3600L conical stylus fits perfectly into the grooves of the record and reveals details in songs you may have never noticed before. With a budget-friendly price, easy assembly, and the convenience of wireless playback, we think that the Audio-Technica AT-LP60XBT could make a fantastic first turntable for any fledgling vinyl enthusiast. Audio-Technica is known for producing high quality cartridges, and the one used on this vinyl player is no exception.

In this article, we shall look at the anatomy of the bones of the skull - their orientation, articulations, and clinical relevance. The bones of the skull can be considered as two groups: those of the cranium (which consist of the cranial roof and cranial base) and those of the face. It is comprised of many bones, which are formed by intramembranous ossification, and joined by sutures (fibrous joints). The skull is a bony structure that supports the face and forms a protective cavity for the brain. Displaced fractures can damage the nearby infraorbital nerve, leading to ipsilateral paraesthesia of the check, nose, and lip. Zygomatic arch fracture – associated with trauma to the side of the face.Clinical features include pain at fracture site and misalignment of the teeth (malocclusion) Mandibular fracture – often bilateral occurring directly at the side of trauma, and indirectly at the contralateral side due to transmitted forces.Fractures affecting of maxillary bones are classified using the Le Fort classification, ranging from 1 to 3. Maxillary fracture – associated with high-energy trauma. There is often significant soft tissue swelling and associated epistaxis. Nasal fracture – the most common facial fracture, due to the prominent position of the nasal bones at the bridge of the nose. The four most common facial fracture types are: Mandible (jaw) – articulates with the base of the cranium at the temporomandibular joint (TMJ).įractures of the facial skeleton are relatively common and most frequently result from road traffic collisions, fist fights, and falls.Vomer – forms the posterior aspect of the nasal septum.Maxilla (2) – comprises part of the upper jaw and hard palate.Palatine (2) – situated at the rear of oral cavity and forms part of the hard palate.Inferior nasal conchae (2) – located within the nasal cavity, these bones increase the surface area of the nasal cavity, thus increasing the amount of inspired air that can come into contact with the cavity walls.Nasal (2) – two slender bones that are located at the bridge of the nose.Lacrimal (2) – the smallest bones of the face.Zygomatic (2) – forms the cheek bones of the face and articulates with the frontal, sphenoid, temporal and maxilla bones. The frontal bone, typically a bone of the calvaria, is sometimes included as part of the facial skeleton. She describes how she chooses which story to tell, why some of her projects have been stillborn, and how her career as a well-known writer living in the United States has "played" (and not played) with her extended family in the Dominican Republic. She talks openly about the personal sacrifices she has made for writing. In the second half of Something to Declare ("Declarations"), Alvarez tackles the business of writing itself. Alvarez's mother tries to keep her four girls from plunging headlong into a culture that mocks the rules of the old world and la familiaóa land of private schools, rebellion, boyfriends, bell-bottoms, marriages, divorces, and careers as farfetched as a that of a writer living in Vermont. Alvarez's doctor father is a lone, proud man among five women at peace with his family and yet rooted in his culture's code of male privilege and domination. Few contemporary authors have written as keenly about the relationships between sisters, and between daughters and fathers and mothers as Alvarez does. She writes: "What surprises me is to discover how much of my verbal rhythm, my word choices, my attention to the sound of my prose comes from my native language as spoken by la familia." Alvarez's family is ever present in these essays. Conversely, in the essay, "Family Matters" Alvarez describes how Spanish remains a strong influence on her writing. In the essay "My English," she describes how English went from being what her parents spoke to keep secrets from her to her ticket into a new world and a career. In the first section ("Customs"), Alvarez describes first hearing the strains of the language that would become the lingua franca of her writing in her U.S.-educated diplomat grandfather's perfectly enunciated English. In this two-part collection of essays, Alvarez chronicles her abiding passions: the drama of family and history, and the art of writing. Ukrainian units have and continue to receive training in Europe on combined arms operations, as the combined effects of Ukrainian infantry, armor, artillery, engineers, and other combat arms will likely be necessary to dislodge Russian forces from the country, particularly given Russia’s long-term and ongoing improvements to its defensive positions. Russia’s invasion of and ongoing war in Ukraine using mechanized and armored formations necessitated a range of Ukrainian responses, including resistance, defensive, and, increasingly, offensive operations. Either outcome will likely depend on a range of factors, including details about what variants of what platforms the West provides the level and quality of the training and logistics packages (hopefully) accompanying equipment delivery the ability of Ukraine to actually generate combat power based on the provided equipment, training, and logistics and the types of operations in which Ukraine employs said combat power. If the West can deliver on its promises to equip and train Ukraine with these mechanized and armored ground combat vehicles in a timely manner, perhaps even before this spring, it could be a “ game changer” - but not necessarily. The United States and some North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) allies have now pledged to deliver advanced infantry fighting vehicles and main battle tanks, and they are apparently considering advanced fighter jets, as well. The flurry of announced plans to increase Western military aid to Ukraine continues. Output isĪlways appended to the end of the file. The file is created if it does not exist. He's hilarious and short tempered, making him an easy target to poke fun at (much to his dismay), compared to his partner-in-crime and betrothed, Benio. Rokuro Enmado (Twin Star Exorcists): Essentially Kirito but with much more going on for his character, and minus the OPness. But regardless, this might be my favorite Bryce Papenbrook role to date. Would be a much more interesting character if the series had better writing. The screaming and intensity he brings to the fight scenes is of pure energy and excitement. But I don't think I can hear any other person's voice coming out othe the OP Swordsman's mouth other than Bryce Papenbrook (minus the JP seiyu). Kirito's character may not have much in terms of depth. Kirito (SAO): Arguably his most iconic role. And a lot of that is credit to Bryce Papenbrook's portrayal as him. A sensation of discomfort and tension resonated in my body with this character. A pleasant and incredible surprise from Bryce's hero roles. One of the most interesting characters of the franchise with his obsession with Hope, and his creepy, twisted, and psychopathic demeanor. But it was Nagito Komeada that stood out to me. Sure Bryce has played DR1's main protagonist in Makoto Naegi. Nagito Komeada (Danganronpa): Normally, I start with my favorite, but for this, I'm going with the one that left the biggest impression. Every performance, you can hear his passion, energy, and confidence resonate in every role he plays He's also a hilarious human being, supplying many crack-up blooper moments, even adding a few bomb takes for his fellow VAs. There is a reason he is called back to work time and time again: he knows his niche, he plays it extremely well, and he's a professional. Up next is one of the most recognizable voices in the VO industry: Bryce Papenbrook! He's undoubtedly a "go-to" voice actor for protagonist characters, but it's a type that he's clearly a master at.
